I saved the Lilith lineart separately so I could experiment a little in OpenCanvas. I didn't bother finishing this because I got frustrated. :'DWhat I don't like about oC1.1:
- The interface is... too simple, I suppose. There aren't enough tools and modifications for those tools for me to get done what I need to get done.
- Everything is in broken English or in Japanese. ; ;
- There are no normal layers- just multiply, add, and subtract. I want my normal layers back. ; ;
- The brush cursor does not expand when you increase the brush size! D: It's nearly impossible to fill in lineart when you don't know how big your brush is. D<
- I'll admit that it works a lot faster than PS7. >_>
- The colors auto-blend!
- I'm in love with the watercolor brush.
- The colors I use need to be closer together on the palette for them to blend better. That means a lot more in-betweeners for dramatic shading. Yikes. Lazy meter going off!
Another idea that we're discussing as I type this is the possibility of doing a pairing.

Leyla, you have no idea how much I actually like that Lilith headshot. I think the coloring looks really good and you definitely should do more in OC!
Let me just say don't bother with in-betweeners. Just blend the two colors directly together, and eyedrop colors from the blends to blend them more. Am I making sense? XD

Oh god, the kareoke one in PA is the closest, and I don't quite know just what's gonna happen there. >_> We're probably staying with Tori's family (if I'm even allowed to go...) and not bothering with costumes because, well, it's so close, but we might learn a dance or two. oh and don't worry too much about that summer assignment. try to get good grades, yes, but most high schools never really count in the first year of high shool. they really concentrate on sophmore, junior and senior years, because they understand that it's a big step from middle shool to high, you know? but i'm sure you'll be fine. just felt like being reassuring. :]
